In the Basic Template you get a lesson on how to start and stop tracks, select the track you want, use the EQs for Low-Mid-Hi cuts, and Crossfade between Decks while using FX to spice up the transitions.

And it's setup so you can play a DJ set using only the 1/2 stereo output jack from your computer -- no MIDI controllers or audio interface required.

ADVANCED TEMPLATE WITH TWIN OUTPUTS

In the second template, the two decks are assigned to twin stereo outputs, so you can connect to a real DJ mixer and bring your sets into the DJ booth.

You'll be able to cue up tracks in the headphones, mix with your hands on the EQ knobs, and make amazing transitions with the Ableton FX Racks.

(This requires an audio interface with four outputs).
